Frontend & performance
React, Next.js, and TypeScript for interfaces, with attention to SSR, caching, SEO, and page performance.
About
Physics taught me to test ideas until they hold up. Engineering gave me somewhere to ship them — and I’m still choosing problems the same way.
I’m Samudra Zulqifli a frontend-focused, fullstack-capable software engineer. This is less a list of things I know and more the order I learned them in, because the order explains why I build the way I do, and where I’m headed next.
I studied physics before I studied software years spent asking “does this actually hold up, or does it just look right?” before I ever wrote a line of production code. That habit turned out to be the most useful thing I brought into engineering.
At Kotakode I shipped fullstack features end to end React and Next.js on the frontend, NestJS and Express behind it and learned what “done” means when real users, not just tests, are the ones judging it. At Brighton Real Estate I took that further: migrating a high-traffic property platform off a legacy PHP CMS to Next.js, and taking its Lighthouse score from 65 to 90+ along the way. Alongside that, I’ve built a Shopify storefront from scratch for Cleya Beauty and a CMS-driven corporate site for TSW different problems, same discipline: understand the constraint, then design around it.
I’m currently an IT Apps Officer at OMADATA Data Center, part of PT Dutakom Wibawa Putra, building dashboard features. Alongside that, I take on freelance projects from landing pages to full applications.
I’m looking for frontend or fullstack roles remote-first, open to the right onsite opportunity where I can move from implementing decisions to making more of them: owning architecture, performance budgets, and the trade-offs behind a product, not just the code that ships them.
